Waiting, adaptation, and inevitable transformations are frequent companions in the lives of
people facing change, whether it’s migration, relocation, or shifts in their social environment.
In 2024, after moving to a new country, I found myself in a state of waiting: bureaucratic and
social barriers became part of daily life, and insomnia often became my only companion. It
was an interesting time of uncertainty, when you begin to get acquainted with a new place
and build a relationship with it.
At night, spaces and objects look different. My walks through deserted streets became a
metaphor for how, while waiting, processes unfold at their own pace.
«Between Dreams» is about how, in moments of waiting and insomnia, hidden
transformations gradually take place, how you slowly and imperceptibly adapt to them, and
inevitably integrate into a new life.
